adm and its affiliates, are Make it Carbon Neutral certified by the Carbon Reduction Institute (CRI) through the NoCO2 Program. Make it Carbon Neutral certification enables adm to offer its products and services as carbon neutral to its partners and extend Make it Carbon Neutral certification to those products and services when requested by its partners. Certification includes logo use on the product/s and marketing materials; and partners can refer to, and promote, their carbon neutral purchases.
adm is now able to help its partners to reduce their supply chain emissions.
How does Make it Carbon Neutral work?
- adm requests from CRI emissions calculations and quotations to fully offset the emissions for product/s and services to be supplied to its partners.
- Partners request Make it Carbon Neutral certification for products and services supplied by adm and select the carbon credit project they want to utilise to offset the emissions related to the product/s and services for which they have requested Make it Carbon Neutral Certification.
- adm invoices their partner for products and services provided as carbon neutral under the Make it Carbon Neutral certification. At the start of the financial year quarter following the financial year quarter in which the partner is invoiced; adm Group reports the sale to CRI in the quarterly reporting of all Make it Carbon Neutral sales for that financial year quarter.
- CRI audits the Make it Carbon Neutral sales for the financial year quarter, establishes the carbon footprint of those sales and retires sufficient carbon credits to fully offset the emissions related to the Make it Carbon Neutral sales for the previous financial year quarter.
