At Cassette we are a fully Carbon Neutral company and proud of it.Since 2008, we’ve been working with the Carbon Reduction Institute to reduce our CO2 footprint by offsetting our carbon emissions. This is achieved through a variety of things including planting native trees and funding carbon projects. Achieving a CO2 certification means that we have completely removed our impact on climate change.
The building, which brings together classic architecture of late 19th century and a contemporary interior plus a range of inspired services, is rich in environmental features including double insulation, staggered stud construction on all lightweight walls and ceilings, double glazed; tinted & laminated windows & 100% renewable energy powered green electricity.
Don’t believe us? The Carbon Reduction institute came to us and conducted a comprehensive emissions audit to determine carbon neutrality. The audit quantifies the life cycle of emissions from all inputs (labour, products and services) that Cassette is responsible for consuming.
This audit is written in strict accordance with the GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard, which is the world’s most widely used and recognised greenhouse gas accounting tool. And we passed it. We care for the environment in our business practices and now it’s official.
