The HUBBED network has been designed to meet the requirements of ecommerce carriers with a national network of locations able to meet the demands of their customers.
The HUBBED national network of collection points reduces loss of aggregation whilst improving cost and customer convenience.These locations are optimized by route and order density based on current ecommerce delivery data. With over 1700 locations throughout Australia, collection points are typically within 2km of most customers homes.
The HUBBED network includes BP and 7-Eleven petrol and convenience stores allowing for easy parking, 24/7 access and more control over the collection experience.
HUBBED services are certified carbon neutral by the Carbon Reduction Institute (CRI) as their environmental impact has been measured and offset. Further the HUBBED network reduces the number of trips taken by courier vehicles in support of carrier C02 reduction initiatives.
Environmental Action:
HUBBED PTY LTD is a NoC02 business certified by CRI under the NoCO2 Program. To achieve this status and become carbon neutral HUBBED PTY LTD undertook the following process:
- HUBBED PTY LTD commissioned a NoCO2 audit from CRI to measure their carbon footprint, through the determination of the GHG emissions that resulted from their operations over the 2017 financial year (FY2017). CRI’s NoCO2 audit follows the standards outlined by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development’s Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard (1), in addition to the international standard ISO 14064.1 (2).
- HUBBED PTY LTD have committed to offset their unavoidable emissions through the purchase of units in approved projects under the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), and
- HUBBED PTY LTD have committed to ongoing annual auditing of their emissions.
What does NoCO2 mean?
By meeting the requirements of the NoCO2 Program, HUBBED PTY LTD is now a carbon neutral business. All products sold by HUBBED PTY LTD are certified as carbon neutral products by CRI and can display the Carbon Neutral Product Logo issued by CRI.
What Carbon Credit Project does HUBBED purchase offsets from?
China Wind
The China Wind Project provides a renewable, clean energy source for power generation. Wind projects partially displace electricity currently generated from grid connected conventional fossil fuel based thermal power plants, thereby reducing overall emissions. Furthermore, by reducing harmful pollutants in the atmosphere, the China Wind Project also provides public health and local environmental benefits. Such projects also provide economic benefits through increased investment in renewable energy and employment opportunities.
