Based in Byron Bay, We, the many* is a sustainable business creating carbon neutral breakfast cereals and investing 50% of profits into carbon reducing, climate positive projects – projects such as regenerative agriculture, wind and solar farms, recycling technology and climate start-up accelerators.
Our passion for health is just as strong as it is for the environment. Our delicious range of carbon neutral breakfast cereals have been created with scientifically proven functional ingredients to optimise personal health. Turmeric for anti-inflammatory and cognitive support, beetroot for antioxidant and exercise performance and green banana resistant starch for gut health.
Climate Change Action
We, the many*’s breakfast cereal range is certified carbon neutral by the Carbon Reduction Institute (CRI) under the NoCO2 Program. To achieve Carbon Neutral Product certification, We, the many* undertook the following process:
- Commissioned a Hybrid Life Cycle Assessment of their products from CRI to quantify the carbon footprint of their breakfast cereals. CRI’s assessment relied upon delivery-specific data from We, the many*, as well as published sources of relevant data and emissions factors.
- Committed to offset the emissions associated with their breakfast cereals through the purchase of units in approved projects under the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) or Gold Standard (GS) on a quarterly basis, and
- Committed to ongoing reporting and auditing of their product emissions through quarterly sales reporting.
What does Carbon Neutral Product Certification mean?
By meeting the requirements of the NoCO2 Program, We, the many*’s breakfast cereals are certified as a Carbon Neutral Product by CRI; can be promoted and marketed as such and can display the Carbon Neutral Product Logo issued by CRI.
What Carbon Credit Projects does We, The Many* purchase offsets from?
We, the many* will purchase carbon credit projects meeting either the Gold Standard or Verified Carbon Standard in renewable energy and energy efficiency projects in the developing world, including India and China.
